Along with the Modern Economics series of articles, I’ll start a Web Development series as well.

I’ve been studying Web Design and Web Development since my first High School elective course I took in the first semester of my Freshman year in 2005. The course was called introduction to computers and one of the subjects covered was HTML. I continued taking computer electives throughout my High School education and even studied Computer Science at my local community college. I have since taught myself CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL Database and have intimate experience with Joomla!, Drupal, Concrete5, Volusion, and WordPress Content Management Systems.

This series is going to encapsulate the many subjects I’ve studied and have experience with founding Digital Waypoint as well as developing websites for the many previous projects I’ve worked on in the past decade. Many of the articles will include how to get started creating a website, Content Management Systems, Templates vs building from scratch, trends in Web Design, mobile vs desktop, Responsive design, Search Engine Optimization, Analytics and Advertisements, Digital Marketing, and more.

When I began Digital Waypoint, the articles were heavily Business related posting more than 130 articles ranging from Statistics and Finance to the 18 series of articles of Marketing. In 2015, I made took a hiatus from Business articles to focus more on Technology in the first half and Entertainment in the second half of the year and into 2016. So to balance the Modern Economics series I expect to post monthly, I’ll also be posting monthly for the Website series as well. I hope to then host a balanced array of Business, Technology, and Entertainment articles from now on.
